Since 1992, Theatretrain has been offering young people aged 6 to 18 professional training in the Theatre Arts. With over 90 centres across the country, it promises three hours of fun every Saturday during term time for those who enjoy dancing, acting and singing.
All our students perform regularly both locally and in the West End, including the Royal Albert Hall, in shows specially created for them by Theatretrain director Kevin Dowsett and musical Director Robert Hyman.
As well as being really good fun, Theatretrain is a fantastic way of building confidence. All abilities are welcome and there is no audition to join, offering all children the same experiences whether they have performed before or not.”
Students receive hourly classes in drama, dance and singing with professional, enthusiastic teachers and the centres run classes in three different age groups, 6/9s, 10/12s and 13/18s. Students often work together across the age groups, particularly during shows and this creates a family atmosphere and a great sense of team spirit; an environment that Theatretrain promotes.
